Electric Process Circulation Heaters
Circulation heaters are simply an immersion heater placed into a vessel. Fluid/Gas travels into the vessel containing the heater, down the elements picking up the heat, then out of the opposite end.
An electric process circulation heater is designed to heat fluid as it circulates through a closed-loop system. The circulation heater heats the fluid as it flows through the heater, allowing the heated fluid to be utilized in various industrial applications.
More About This Product
What separates HC Thermal, is we calculate the fluid velocities to assure good heat transfer and element cooling by the process. So yes, we want to design the circulation heater and electric process circulation heater so the process cools the element and in turn, heats the process.
Advantages
There are several advantages of electric process circulation heaters in several industrial applications, including chemical processing and hydraulic systems. These include:
- Efficiency
- Compact design
- Rapid heating
- Low maintenance
Heater Watt Density & Vessel Design
Picking the right heater watt density and vessel design is critical to long heater life. Optimizing design to keep the fluid/gas temperature as close to the element is our specialty along with Low Flow, High Delta T and difficult to heat fluids. We have patent pending designs to solve the most difficult heat transfer processes.
Circulation Heaters
Electric process circulation heaters are most often pipe bodies which are typically the same material as the flange holding the elements. The pipe bodies can be certified for pressure most typically by ASME but as the flange we can also meet worldwide certifications.
From everyday process applications to pilot/prototype applications, HC Thermal can meet your needs or help you find the right partner.
